Technology company general counsel, known for expertise and generosity, dies
Jeffrey D. Adelman, 48, died Saturday after more than 14 years with j2 Global Inc., the Los Angeles-based technology company announced Tuesday.

Technology company j2 Global Inc. announced Tuesday the death of its vice president, general counsel and secretary, Jeffrey D. Adelman. Adelman, 48, had spent more than 14 years with the company and died Saturday after a "brief illness," the company said.
