San Francisco city attorney sued by former deputy chief trial counsel

City Attorney Dennis Herrera has been sued by his former deputy chief trial counsel, who accuses him of firing her after she discovered an alleged kickback scheme.

SAN FRANCISCO - City Attorney Dennis Herrera has been sued by his former deputy chief trial counsel, who accuses him of firing her after she discovered an alleged kickback scheme.


Filed Wednesday in San Francisco County Superior Court, the complaint by Joanne Hoeper also names Therese M. Stewart, Herrera's former deputy city attorney and recent appointee to the 1st District Court of Appeal.
