San Francisco judge joins state judicial ethics committee

Judge Curtis E.A. Karnow of San Francisco County Superior Court is the newest addition to the 12-judge Committee on Judicial Ethics Opinions, the judicial branch announced Friday.

San Francisco County Superior Court Judge Curtis E.A. Karnow was appointed to the state Supreme Court's Committee on Judicial Ethics Opinions, it was announced Friday.


The four-year-old committee is comprised of 12 judges who advise the judiciary on ethical matters. Their opinions are non-binding.
