Veteran 3rd Circuit judge who lived in Santa Barbara dies at 95

Ruggero J. Aldisert, a President Lyndon Johnson appointee to the 3rd Circuit who decades ago moved to Santa Barbara for his health, died Sunday.

Ruggero J. Aldisert, a veteran federal appellate judge from Pennsylvania who for decades kept chambers near Santa Barbara, died Sunday at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, his son Robert confirmed. He was 95.
