AT&T told to pay $2M in medical leave case

A San Diego Superior Court jury ruled that the company retaliated against a former employee.

A San Diego County Superior Court jury determined Thursday that AT&T Communications of California Inc. retaliated against a former customer service representative in violation of the Family and Medical Leave Act and awarded the plaintiff, Angela Hernandez, slightly more than $2 million.
