Chief justice names four judges to Judicial Council
The appointments include three voting members and one advisory, non-voting member. Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye said she made the appointments while keeping "innovations in family law, juvenile law, and criminal law" in mind.

Four superior court judges have joined the ranks of the Judicial Council, the state agency announced Wednesday.
