Lawyer Sues West Over Failed CD-ROM Deal

An attorney has filed suit against West Publishing Co. and its parent Bancroft-Whitney Co., claiming he put in thousands of hours and more than a million dollars to develop a legal practice aid on CD-ROM from the legal publisher, only to have the company back out of the deal at the last minute.
