Tobacco Pact Yields Large Fees

LOS ANGELES - An attorney involved in the massive tobacco litigation for which lawyers were awarded $1.25 billion in fees by an arbitration panel Monday said that one of the private judges wanted to give the lawyers an even higher amount.
