Palestinian May Get Six Years for Threats
LOS ANGELES - A Palestinian man is facing six years in prison after pleading guilty last week in federal court to making threats to destroy a commercial aircraft and resisting an immigration officer.
Mohammad Mahmoud Bachir, 43, entered the plea on Friday before U.S. District Judge Lourdes Baird, who set sentencing for Sept. 30.
