Menesini Loses Costly DA Race

MARTINEZ - A historically competitive and at times downright nasty campaign for Contra Costa County district attorney wound down early Wednesday morning as Chief Assistant Deputy District Attorney Bob Kochly beat longtime Martinez Mayor Mike Menesini by less than 4 percent of the vote.
