Auto Club Takes General Counsel From O'Melveny & Myers in L.A.
The Automobile Club of Southern California has tapped Avery R. Brown as vice president and general counsel. His first day was Sept. 16. Brown, who's worked for Los Angeles' O'Melveny & Myers since 1989, is replacing Robert Wright, who will retire at the end of the year. Wright has headed the legal division of the Los Angeles-based insurance firm since 1986.
