DA Lowers Charges in Defender Hash Case

LOS ANGELES - Deputy Public Defender Larry H. Farinholt likely will face misdemeanor charges instead of felony charges for allegedly trying to bring nearly 1.7 grams of hashish through the loading dock of the Los Angeles County Courthouse, officials said Friday.
