Bad-Chad Anxiety Haunts L.A. Elections

LOS ANGELES - The specters of those tiny but fearsome twins, Hanging and Dimpled Chad, haunted Tuesday's elections. Concern that the Los Angeles mayoral and other races might be marred by controversies like last year's presidential vote fiasco in Florida was rampant. For instance, chad anxiety propelled California Secretary of State Bill Jones into town with a pugilistic message to voters: Knock out those chads!
