State Appellate Justice Succumbs to Cancer at 54

LOS ANGELES - Ramona Godoy Perez, an associate justice of the 2nd District Court of Appeal beloved for her easygoing demeanor and ready smile, died of cancer Wednesday at a hospice in Westminster. She was 54.
