Christensen Miller: L.A.'s Gores Technology Will Purchase Verifone

Investment firm Gores Technology Group has agreed to buy VeriFone Inc., a maker of credit card payment systems, from Hewlett-Packard Co. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed. But Hewlett Packard reportedly bought VeriFone four years ago for $1.15 billion.
