Holland & Knight program seeks to protect elders
The Mickey Rooney Elder Abuse Pro Bono Project, started last year by Holland & Knight LLP, seeks to protect senior citizens from becoming victims of financial elder abuse and to help them reclaim finances lost.

Two years ago, legendary actor Mickey Rooney testified before the Senate Special Committee on Aging about being the victim of elder abuse - a threat he said many find themselves facing without the resources to overcome.
