2nd suit filed over royalties to "Happy Birthday" song

Two Los Angeles plaintiffs have come forward to challenge Warner/Chappell Music Inc.'s ownership of the song "Happy Birthday to You."


In a lawsuit filed in the Central District last week, filmmaker Robert Siegel claims he paid $3,000 to Warner/Chappell to include the song in his film, "Big Fan." Rupa Marya, lead musician in "Rupa & The April Fishes," claims she was forced to pay $455...
