EPA to Ban Toxic Pesticide

The U.S. EPA announced it will ban a highly toxic pesticide used on crops such as tomatoes and cotton.

The federal Environmental Protection Agency announced Wednesday it will ban a highly toxic pesticide used on crops such as tomatoes and cotton nearly two years after environmental, farmworker and health advocates sued the agency in San Francisco district court to block its use.
