Irell & Manella Settles $150 Million Malpractice Claim

Irell & Manella has settled a $150 million malpractice claim leveled against the firm by one of its major clients, according to federal court documents.

LOS ANGELES - Irell & Manella has settled a $150 million malpractice claim leveled against the firm by one of its major clients, according to federal court documents.

The deal averted an award that one attorney in the case described during court proceedings as a potentially "devastating" blow to the 200-attorney firm.
