Vote Restores Judgeship in Eastern District
WASHINGTON - The Senate has approved a bill that would restore a temporary judgeship to California. The bill passed the Senate Judiciary Committee months ago but had failed to progress because an unnamed Republican senator blocked it. This dispute between senators was resolved Tuesday evening.
