LACBA calls for audit, says event price hikes were due to internal misallocation of funds

The president of the financially strapped Los Angeles County Bar Association says event pricing guidelines will be revised after a check of the books showed most law practice sections were covering their own direct costs, after all.

The proposed event pricing guidelines for law practice sections of the Los Angeles County Bar Association will be revised pending an audit , its president said Wednesday, chalking up the initial hike proposal to an internal misallocation of funds.
