'Degree mill' settlement receives preliminary approval

Students claim they were misled about the accreditation status of a Los Angeles campus.

An $8.2 million settlement between the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and former students of the Los Angeles campus was preliminarily approved Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
