Venture capitalist mired in contract dispute with former lover

Ex-Sequoia Capital managing partner acknowledges $40 million contract few could imagine signing, but says it's been abrogated.

A prominent venture capitalist accused by his former lover of failing to fulfill a $40 million settlement agreement to keep their affair out of the headlines responded as promised Monday with a cross complaint in San Mateo County Superior Court.
