Attorney who made sexist remark must pay more than $60,000

Judge Paul S. Grewal granted plaintiff's subsequent declarations for costs in Monterey dispute

A judge's sanction of a lawyer for a sexist remark plus impeding discovery and depositions in a lawsuit regarding a Monterey County Jail suicide will cost the punished lawyer $60,690, according to court filings.
