SAN FRANCISCO - Mercedez-Benz USA LLC is the latest target of a class action accusing the car company of falsely claiming some of its vehicles pass emissions standards.
The lawsuit, filed Friday in Northern District, accuses the Mercedes of illegally promoting vehicles powered by the company's BlueTEC engine as "clean diesel" machines, when they are "far from 'clean.'"
