The State Bar Court's Review Department has recommended disbarment of a Los Angeles attorney accused of illegally collecting $258,400 in advance fees for loan modification services.
The court also found Gene Wook Choe made unauthorized withdrawals from client accounts and committed acts of moral turpitude in his bankruptcy practice.
