Jury Awards Child-Abuse Victim $1.5 Million

SAN BERNARDINO - After finding that an operator of homes for mentally disturbed children was liable for the sexual misconduct of staff members, a jury Thursday awarded $1.5 million in punitive damages to a boy molested by a counselor.
