State Bar targeted lawyers of fired employees, suit alleges

Assistant to former bar executive director includes new allegations of wrongdoing in lawsuit.

The State Bar sought to retaliate against high-profile attorneys representing terminated employees by ordering complaints against those lawyers dating back three decades to be re-opened, according to a new lawsuit filed against the agency and two officials.
