Gibson Dunn: CADENCE DESIGN WILL BUY SILICON PERSPECTIVE CORP.
San Jose's Cadence Design Systems Inc. has agreed to acquire Silicon Perspective Corp. of Santa Clara. Neither company would disclose the financial terms of the deal.
Cadence develops electronic design automation software, which is used to design semiconductors and electronic systems for use in mobile and wireless devices and network equipment.
