Fresno County judge given 'severe' public censure
The California Commission on Judicial Performance filed a severe public censure of Judge James Petrucelli on Tuesday, the most severe discipline short of removal.

A Fresno County Superior Court judge who released a jailed acquaintance was issued
a severe public censure by the Judicial Performance Commission on Tuesday, the commission's
fourth disciplinary action against the judge. The action is the second most severe
disciplinary action the commission can impose, short of removal.
