New Study Focuses on Gel Implant Innovations

Medical researchers have launched a new research studying a device that they hope will improve the image of silicone implants. The research is examining the McGhan Style 410 implant, made by Santa Barbara-based McGhan Medical, for breast augmentation or reconstruction. The study already is under way at a number of centers, and eventually, the company expects hundreds of patients to participate in the studies at dozens of sites nationwide, a representative said.
