Landlord to Pay in Housing Lawsuit

SAN FRANCISCO - An East Oakland landlord must pay $500,000 to 35 tenants to settle a lawsuit claiming rat and cockroach infestations, plumbing, heating and electrical code violations and other faults, Oakland sole practitioner Ken Greenstein announced Wednesday.
