Former Attorney Gets 10 Years For Bilking Clients of $2 Million
LOS ANGELES - In one of the steepest penalties imposed in Los Angeles District Attorney Steve Cooley's crackdown on corrupt lawyers, a former Santa Clarita attorney was sentenced to 10 years in prison Thursday for bilking a dozen clients, including two senior citizens, out of $2 million.
