State, county battle over taxes

The state Department of Finance has accused Orange County of "flouting the law" by withholding $73.5 million in taxes, but the county has responded that in only wants its fair share.

SANTA ANA - A lawsuit by the state Department of Finance has accused Orange County of "flouting the law" by withholding $73.5 million in taxes it allegedly owes California, but the county has responded that it only wants its fair share.
