Kennedy could be key vote on healthcare

Not only might U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony M. Kennedy decide the fate of the Obama administration's health care law, the California native could also define the court's view of federalism for years to come.




As the familiar swing vote on a sharply polarized U.S. Supreme Court, Justice Anthony M. Kennedy may decide whether the Obama administration's health care overhaul survives its constitutional challenge.
