A federal judge granted class certification Monday to plaintiffs in a labor dispute against Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., a company that places foreign technology workers in jobs for U.S. clients.
Plaintiffs claim the Indian company wrongfully made some 12,000 workers from India sign over their tax returns to the company. Under California labor laws, employers cannot collect or receive any part of an employee's wages. Veda...
