Stanford Law School dean stepping down
Larry Kramer, who led Stanford Law School and pushed for major curriculum changes that combined the study of law and other academic disciplines at the university since becoming dean in 2004, announced Wednesday he will step down in August.

Larry Kramer, who led Stanford Law School and pushed for major curriculum changes that combined the study of law and other academic disciplines at the university since becoming dean in 2004, announced Wednesday he will step down in August.
He will take over the presidency of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, a Menlo Park-based philanthropic organization, on Sept. 1.
