Firm sues Bar Association of San Francisco over arbitration

A law firm has filed suit against the Bar Association of San Francisco, claiming the organization unlawfully refused to oversee arbitration proceedings between the firm and a former client.

A law firm has filed suit against the Bar Association of San Francisco, claiming the organization unlawfully refused to oversee arbitration proceedings between the firm and a former client.


San Francisco-based Seifer, Murken, Despina, James & Teichman ALC claims BASF was under a court order to arbitrate a dispute between the firm and Alan Hyams but failed to do so.
