Defendants settle price-fixing claims

Chunghwa Picture Tubes Ltd. of Taiwan and Koninklijke Philips Electronics NV of the Netherlands agree to pay $10 million and $27 million, respectively.

Direct purchaser plaintiffs in a price-fixing case against the manufacturers of cathode ray tube products have reached settlements with defendants Chunghwa Picture Tubes Ltd. of Taiwan and Koninklijke Philips Electronics NV of the Netherlands and its subsidiaries.
