Senate passes JOBS bill

The U.S. Senate passed an amended version of the JOBS Act on Thursday, which would, among other things, ease public offerings for smaller companies.

PALO ALTO - The U.S. Senate passed an amended version of the JOBS Act on Thursday, which would, among other things, ease public offerings for smaller companies.


The Senate approved the bill after adding language intended to protect investors. The bill is expected to be on the president's desk by next week.
