Simpson Thacher advises Silver Lake in talent agency deal

Acquisition of IMG by William Morris Endeavor and its backer Silver Lake is estimated to be valued at $2.4 billion

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP represented Silver Lake Partners, a backer of William Morris Endeavor Entertainment LLC, in the duo's acquisition of talent agency IMG Worldwide Holdings Inc. from private investment firm Forstmann Little and Co.


Terms of the transaction were not disclosed but media reports have speculated that the WME-Silver Lake bid was in the ballpark of $2.4 billion. Mubadala...
