Felony Mediation Program Faces Obstacles in California
Last month, 30 felony cases were mediated in a pilot program designed to clear out criminal dockets and lighten the load in county prisons — in Kentucky. Despite the popularity of civil case mediation, no such program exists for criminal cases in California.
