Kaye Scholer: PLATINUM EQUITY EXPANDS ITS BROADBAND CAPABILITIES
Los Angeles-based Platinum Equity Holdings has acquired the Access Products Division and Broadband Wireless Group from ADC Telecommunications Inc. of Minnetonka, Minn. Neither company would disclose the terms of the deal.
Platinum Equities is a holding company that buys technology businesses from other companies and continues to run them as they were before their purchase.
