Agreement Allows Shelter to Continue
LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles city attorney's office agreed Thursday to a judge's proposal to allow a religious group founded by the late Mother Teresa to continue serving the homeless while the parties try to work out a dispute over the shelter's location.
In the event a solution cannot be reached, U.S. District Judge Stephen V. Wilson has set a Jan. 26 trial.
