San Diego new home sales dip slightly

New home sales in San Diego County decreased minimally during the third quarter of 1999, according to the Meyers Group. Meyers, which provides new home real estate information, released statistics showing 2,298 new homes were sold in the county during the quarter, a negligible 1 percent dip from second quarter sales. When compared to the same quarter last year, sales increased 23.8 percent. Year-to-date sales totaled 6,557 units, down 440 units or 6.3 percent compared to 1998 figures.
