Latham & Watkins CHARTERED SEMICONDUCTOR CONDUCTS AN OFFERING Singapore's Chartered Semiconductor has completed an initial public offering valued at $575 million. The company was the first to list stock simultaneously on the Nasdaq National Market and the Singapore Stock Exchange. At the close of its first day of trading, Chartered's stock rose more than 65 percent from the initial asking price of $18 per share.
