Riverside Judge Abruptly Tells Of Retirement
RIVERSIDE - Superior Court Judge William H. Sullivan, 70, whose name has figured prominently in a scandal involving court-appointed conservatorships, has announced his retirement, effective Dec. 31. The announcement came just a week after two employees of a firm Sullivan appointed to handle the affairs of a large number of elderly and infirm people pleaded guilty to criminal charges that they had stolen from those in their care.
