9th Circuit Allows, Limits Rules On National Forest Gatherings

The federal government can impose some limits on the yearly back-country gathering of free spirits known as the Rainbow Family, but only for such goals as protecting public health and natural resources, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday.
