City planners want height limit raised

San Francisco - City planners are recommending that a proposed municipal office building planned for 525 Golden Gate Ave. be exempted from a height limit designed to keep buildings in the city's Civic Center area from rising higher than 104 feet. The city wants to build a 234-foot tower.
