Ohio developer to turn Ford plant to housing
Richmond - The city's nearly two-decade effort to convert an historic automobile factory to a new use has finally borne fruit. Forest City Residential West, a division of Cleveland-based Forest City Enterprises, signed an agreement with the city to transform a 70-year-old Ford plant on the Richmond waterfront to 246 live-work units and 200,000 square feet of commercial space.
